The Hunter Build is a perfect combination of Long Range stopping power and medium to close range combat prowess. This build will be fantastic for Solo play in New World, whether you are questing, leveling up or just want to explore the massive open world! Plenty of options are here!
The core attribute you will want to focus on for the Hunter build is Dexterity. This is because Dexterity is the primary attribute for boosting the damage of our Bow – and you definitely want your Bow to do as much damage as possible on this build! Maxing out your Dexterity also comes with some great passive bonuses such as increased critical chance and headshot damage.
Putting points into Constitution is aslo recommended for increasing your Maximum Health, especially early on in the game. Having at least 50 points in Constitution results a fantastic healing perk great for all builds that increases the effectiveness of your potions.
As a secondary Attribute, some Strength will be useful for improving the melee damage of our Hatchet, so if you come across bonus Strength on Weapons or Armor those will be worth slotting as well.
Bow and Hatchet PvE Build for New World
It is commonly debated as to whether or not you should take Sweep or
Vault Kick. Having the AoE crowd-control for trash packs with a
Sweep is typically better than single-target stuns.
Attributes
In PvE it is advantageous to lower your Constitution as low as possible and this will be compensated for by having Ward perks. It is recommended to play around 100, but you can go to 50 or lower. The decision is up to you!
The rest of your points should be put into Dexterity.
If you are wanting to mainly use your Hatchet, start putting points into Strength once you hit 300 Dexterity.
